The one stretch of highway which had the most damage from the floods is the one leading to the airport at Manthali.
This road is not fully repaired yet, but an alternative route to Manthali has been opened and operational.
The flights to Lukla are happening from both Kathmandu and Manthali.
Interestingly a few days ago, Lukla recorded over 200 flights – both fixed wing and chopper flights.
The season is full on!
